I lost my job approximately just two weeks ago. A job I loved and dedicated myself to it every day. On 02/01, everything was taken away from me when they fired me. Devastated but stubborn, I picked myself back up and haven't looked back. The universe is telling me I deserve much better and much better I will receive in time! I'm still blessed and grateful for the opportunity.

“Work is a battle, it’s not my life” In high stress situations at work i found it helpful to repeat this to myself

Does anyone else feel sort of trapped in their job? Like I want to leave so badly but I really should stay for a few more months for a lot of reasons, plus I just don’t even know what else to look for in other jobs. Feeling totally trapped and don’t know how to manage the time I’m going to have to remain in this job.

My workplace is very negative and adds to my anxiety. Trying to be a positive light is very difficult some days.

Trapped in my job and I have no idea how I’m going to handle the stress the next few months are going to throw at me. Any suggestions for surviving a job you hate?

I keep overthinking what my colleagues think of me, I wish I could convince myself it’s not that deep.

Even though I'm only working 4 hours today, I'm really dreading going to work. I dislike the fact that I have supervisors who are younger than me, and I'm working a service job where people are rude and awful. I can't wait to go home and go back to bed.

I haven’t worked in almost 3 years. Recently I had a job interview and I worked so hard, harder than I’ve ever worked to prepare. I don’t know where that drive came from because I’ve never exhibited anything like that before. I made it through 2 interviews that went really well and I was feeling confident for the first time. But I didn’t get the job. I feel so hopeless now. I can’t do this all over again. If I try my absolute best and it’s not enough, what’s the point?

No matter how hard I work, I'll always be in debt, and paying bills means I can't eat. I'm to the point where I'm considering suicide

I'm really a loser among everyone. Whenever I speak up or contribute to a conversation, I'm shot down, ignored, or people shake their heads. It makes me want to shut up, but shutting up is bad too. I don't know what to do.

My new job is a great fit for me and they appreciate my work. I looked for a year to find the "right" job for me. It was hard to be patient because I did not want to have the same issue at the next job. My last job was my worst job of my career. It broke my heart because I love my career. It made me sick. I lost 30 lbs because I could not eat due to the stress.

I had a bad day at work and I did something embarrassing that probably no one remembers but I keep replaying in my head.

I feel like no matter how hard I try, I get anxious and nervous for validation. When I dont get it, I feel like I'm unappreciated and will be fired soon which makes me more anxious.
