I have depression and anxiety, but I told myself I was going to travel even if it was by myself. Today I sit in my homestay in Costa Rica for my first solo trip. I am so thankful that I was finally able to do this!!!

I am grateful that I tried today. Even though there was so much anger and anxiety today, I tried to function, I tried to talk and say my piece, I tried to calm down even though I failed most of the time. I tried today and thats what matters... (Gratitude June 21)

I am grateful that I was able to call into my daughter’s school today without having a panic attack. Phone calls have always been difficult for me, but I was perfectly fine today. It gives me hope. I am grateful for my meditation time in the morning. I never knew what relaxed was before I started meditating regularly. I am grateful for my three amazing daughters that make me smile each and every day. And our family dog. She shows what it is to truly love unconditionally.
